Facilities

Telephone - A mobile bedside telephone trolley can be used to make outgoing calls upon request.  Incoming calls can also be accepted on this line – 01603455822.  A policy is available on the use of mobile phones on site.

Newspapers - are available to purchase every morning from the portering staff.

Library – a range of library books are available in the day room at Caroline House.

Hair care – a hairdresser visits the Colman Centre every Monday – so there are no excuses for not looking your best.  This service is paid for directly to the hairdresser.

Laundry – There are basic laundry facilities for patients on site.  These comprise a washing machine and a tumble dryer.  However, you may prefer to make alternative arrangements with family or friends if possible.

Money and valuables – we encourage patients not to bring large amounts of cash or valuables into the Colman Centre.  However, if you need to bring any valuables with you, we do have a safe on site which we can put things in for you.
